This is the Nord Lead 2, not to be confused with the Nord Lead V 2.0, which is just a voice expansion. This is a completely new synth, and the old NordLeads can't be updated to a NordLead 2.
The big difference between the old Nord Lead is; Ring modulator, OSC 1 syncable to white noise (makes totally amazing waveforms, sounds like the OSCar), Filterdistortion, more modulation possibilities, redesigned arpeggiator and more waveforms to LFO 1, 4 separate outputs and updated filter. Sounds totally amazing! And it is like having 4 old Nordleads in one box!
Comments About the Sounds:
Very warm sounds, much warmer than the Nord Lead 1 thanks to the new filter and filter dist.
